Tokyo Lit Up: 14,000 Fireworks at the 51st Edogawa Fireworks Festival 2026
The 51st Edogawa Fireworks Festival was held as scheduled on the evening of August 1 at the Edogawa riverbank (near Toritsu Shinozaki Park), with approximately 14,000 fireworks illuminating Tokyo's summer night sky. This year marked the first time the event adopted an all-new musical fireworks format, with the entire display choreographed and launched by Soke Hanabi Kagiya Co., Ltd., a prestigious fireworks company with over 360 years of heritage dating back to the Edo period.
